CDTI has co-funded a research project to develop a new slurry treatment system. A new nutrient-rich fertilizer, soil regenerator and demineralized regenerated water has been created. A major environmental improvement has been achieved by reducing polluting gases (ammonia, methane, nitrogen oxides) that cause the greenhouse effect and the carbon footprint.
